Purchased May of 2002 through Clean Water Indiana Funds, the District purchased a new Aerway 12' pull-type aerator. This piece of equipment may be rented from the SWCD at a rate of $5.00 per acre up to 50 acres and $4.00 per acre after that.

Dry Litter Spreader
Purchased in the spring of 2001, a Stoltzfus Bulk Material Spreader for use in spreading dry poultry litter. This spreader can accurately spread a pattern up to 40' wide and be applied at a rate as little as 200 pounds per acre. It has a unique walking beam suspension and will hold a maximum of 8 tons in its 16' hopper. The spreader is available for rent at a rate of $125 per day plus deposit paid in advance. |
